Hilarious Disasters is a brand new project of the Ukrainian pianist Kateryna Ziabliuk which appeared a few months ago. Every member of this band plays with numerous famous collectives in Poland. There are compositions by Kateryna and her arrangements of unfamous folk tunes. The music of Hilarious Disasters is strongly inspired by Ukrainian folk and free jazz, where musicians explore the possibilities of free improvisation within loose composition. The energy the collective tends to maintain is an unbreakable will to live, be surprising for each other every time, and express the feelings of the hardest emotional spectrum through music and sound jokes.
